Things I've Built

Businesses, experiments and client projects — from idea to execution. Each one built personally, end to end.

01

ROMAG — Personalized Art

A personalized art brand that transforms customer photographs into watercolor-style canvas pieces, built from the ground up as an e-commerce business.

FOUNDER

E-COMMERCE

BRANDING

SHOPIFY

CONTEXT

People increasingly look for gifts and objects that mean something personal, not mass-produced decoration. The idea was simple: turn a personal photograph into a piece of watercolor art worth hanging on a wall.

CHALLENGE

Build a brand and a store from zero — product definition, production workflow, pricing, presentation and marketing — in a crowded gift market where trust decides the purchase.

APPROACH

I treated it as a system, not a shop: a clear product promise, a simple ordering flow, a consistent visual identity and a production process that could deliver the same quality every time.

WHAT I BUILT

  • Brand identity, positioning and tone of voice

  • Shopify store structure, product pages and checkout flow

  • Photo-to-watercolor production and quality-control workflow

  • Digital marketing foundation across social channels

CAPABILITIES & TOOLS

×Shopify

×Brand identity

×E-commerce operations

×Digital marketing

RESULT & LESSONS

A working e-commerce brand — romag.store — built end to end, from idea to a live store selling personalized art internationally. The real lesson: execution exposes every weak assumption in the original plan.

02

Maia's Dream Studio

A children's coloring book brand inspired by my daughter's imagination, built around original characters and career-themed collections for the global Amazon marketplace.

FOUNDER

PUBLISHING

AMAZON KDP

BRAND DEVELOPMENT

CONTEXT

Maia's Dream Studio started with my daughter's imagination and a simple idea: what if the characters and stories inspired by her childhood could become books for children around the world?

I wanted to create something meaningful for her while exploring the possibilities of independent publishing, digital entrepreneurship and AI-assisted creative production.

That idea became Maia's Dream Studio — a children's publishing brand built around imagination, creativity and learning through play.

CHALLENGE

Creating a children's book is relatively straightforward. Building a recognizable publishing brand with a consistent identity, original characters and a repeatable production process is a different challenge.

With no previous experience in children's publishing, I had to learn everything from the ground up: developing book concepts, creating illustrations, preparing print-ready interiors, designing covers and understanding Amazon KDP's publishing requirements.

The goal was to build more than a collection of individual books. I wanted to create a foundation that could support an entire series.

APPROACH

I developed the Tiny Paws Careers Collection, a series of coloring books introducing children to different professions through friendly animal characters.

Each book features a different animal with its own profession, personality and activities. From Farmer Curly Tail and Officer Bamboo to Teacher Whiskers and Doctor Fluffy Ears, the collection combines creativity with an introduction to the world of work.

I established a consistent visual identity and production workflow, using AI-assisted illustration alongside creative direction, editing and quality checks to develop the books for Amazon KDP.

WHAT I BUILT

  • Maia's Dream Studio: An independent children's publishing brand inspired by my daughter's imagination

  • Tiny Paws Careers Collection: A series of coloring books featuring original animal characters, each representing a different profession

  • Amazon KDP publishing: Product listings, book descriptions, keywords, pricing and distribution through Amazon's international marketplaces

  • Book production workflow: A repeatable process covering concept development, illustration direction, cover design, interior layout and print preparation

CAPABILITIES & TOOLS

×Brand Development

×Creative Direction & AI-Assisted Design

×Product Development

×Amazon KDP & Publishing Operations

RESULT & LESSONS

Maia's Dream Studio evolved from a personal idea into a live publishing project, with multiple books released through Amazon KDP and a growing collection of original characters.

The experience taught me that having an idea and turning it into a product are two very different things. Publishing requires consistency, attention to detail, market research and an understanding of what customers actually want.

It also changed how I approach AI. Technology can accelerate creative production, but it cannot replace a clear concept, thoughtful decisions or quality control.

Most importantly, this project gave me practical experience building a publishing brand from scratch — from the first character concept to a finished product available on an international marketplace.

03

Alin Dimcea — Barber

A digital presence, brand identity and booking experience created from scratch for an independent barber.

CLIENT PROJECT

WEB DESIGN

BRANDING

UX

CONTEXT

An independent barber with real craft and a loyal local clientele — but no digital presence, no brand system and no way for new clients to find or book him online.

CHALLENGE

Create everything from scratch: an identity that matches the quality of the work, and a website whose main job is simple — turn visitors into booked appointments.

APPROACH

Start from the customer journey, not from decoration. One clear page structure, one primary action — booking — and a visual identity built around the atmosphere of the shop itself.

WHAT I BUILT

  • Brand identity and visual direction

  • Website structure, UX and copy

  • Booking flow designed around a single primary action

  • Basic digital setup for local discovery

CAPABILITIES & TOOLS

×Web design

×Brand identity

×UX

×Booking & lead generation

RESULT & LESSONS

A complete digital presence built from zero — identity, website and booking experience. The lesson repeats itself: simple systems beat complicated plans.
